Originally from the depths of rural Dorset, England, I've been
staring longingly at my spinning plastic globe and trying to interpret maps since before I could read- fortunately this obsession has made up for a little of my dysfunctional internal compass in
recent years... I'm not exactly ideally suited to travelling; with no sense of direction, a complete ineptitude for languages and serious problems keeping hold of my cameras- I write to show that if
I can do it like that, maybe you can too.
Recently, my boyfriend Dan and I have moved into an inconveniently tiny carpet fitters van, set off on a grande European adventure and then got stuck for five months trying to help refugees in
Calais. My posts have got more and more depressing, but there's plenty of joy to be found in the archives and hopefully some still to come.
